To learn about Cisco ASA Firewall one must have some basic knowledge about Networking along with Cisco CCNA. You will start by learning about the execution of the Cisco ASA Firewall and cover other topics such as the configuration of NAT/PAT, IPsec VPN, and SSL VPN.
Cisco ASA Training will provide you the complete information about how to implement the Cisco ASA Firewall from the beginning, configuring IP addresses and VPN along with how to allow traffic between different security levels.
Cisco ASA uses Security Levels to ascertain the reliability of a Network attached to its respective Interface. ASA configures Security Levels between 0 to 100 where the higher number is more reliable than the lower one.

You can have ASA Firewall either in Routed or Transparent mode. Each mode will treat the packets differently and operate in its concerned manner.
