- Contain it: turn on S3 Block Public Access for the account, not just the bucket.
- Find the cause with IAM Access Analyzer: which policy or ACL opened it.
- Check CloudTrail data events to learn what was read, and by whom.
- Make it impossible to repeat with an SCP guardrail across every account.
